Gathurst Golf Club is situated about one mile from Junction 27 in the village of Shevington three miles north west of Wigan Town Centre.

From the North (M6 Junction 27):
Take the A5209 towards Standish & Wigan, turn right at ‘T’ junction on to Shevington Lane. After about one mile, turn right into Miles Lane, opposite Shevington Library. Cross the M6 Motorway bridge and Gathurst Golf Club is immediately on your left.

From the South (M6 Junction 26):
Take the A577 towards Orrell & Skelmersdale, turn right at traffic lights by the Stag pub on to Gathurst Lane. After about one and a half miles, turn left at the mini rounabout into Miles Lane, opposite Shevington Library. Cross the M6 Motorway bridge and Gathurst Golf Club is immediately on your left.
